OK fine — there's a little more to it. We're a small, family-run operation that believes fresh food shouldn't require a supply chain with 14 stops. We grow everything organic — seeds, soil, packaging, all of it — because 'mostly organic' is just marketing with extra steps.
We started because we love good food and got tired of seeing the same wilted lettuce on every plate in town. Microgreens are tiny, but they pack more flavor and more nutrition than most of what ends up in a standard salad. So we figured — why not grow them ourselves and share them with Kansas City?
We sell directly to restaurants in the Crossroads, Westport, River Market, and across the KC metro. We show up at farmers markets on weekends. And we deliver to anyone in the area who wants the good stuff.
No middlemen. No mystery shelf life. Just greens, grown small, with a lot of care and a little bit of attitude.
What '100% Organic' Actually Means
When we say organic, we mean everything. Organic seeds. Organic growing medium. Compostable packaging. We don't cut corners because the whole point of microgreens is that they're better for you. Defeating that purpose would be... well, defeating the purpose.
Every batch is grown to order in small quantities. We harvest, pack, and deliver — usually within 24 hours. That's freshness you won't find in a grocery store cooler.
